About The Spotted Calf
The Spotted Calf Café is run by the Holbrook Community Society and a mixture of employed staff and fantastic volunteers! We serve coffee, tea, cake and snacks throughout the day.
We use local suppliers wherever possible such as:
The Spotted Cow re-opened in July 2017 after being saved by 225 people in the local community.
Behind the bar at The Spotted Cow is a husband-and-wife team, landlord and landlady Paul and Cheryl Brew.
Although the pub is owned by The Holbrook Community Society we chose Paul and Cheryl to run the pub as tenants because they understood our vision of an evolving model that caters
for what the community needs and they have a wealth of experience in running successful pubs.
We intend to regularly gather feedback and continue to adapt and improve the services offered to the community so that The Spotted Cow can once again be a focal point at the heart of Holbrook.
